The impossible we do at once. Miracles take a little longer!

On the left, below, is Faust the Magician & Company presenting "The Mutilated Parasol" on television in Japan.  This number, performed to "Valse D'Ete" by Adamo, was Faust's promoter's favourite small trick.

Faust bought the trick in Japan in 1971 from the Magic Shop in the Mitsukoshi Department Store in Tokyo, and put it straight into his full 2-hour show where it proved to be a big hit with Japanese audiences and with his promoter, Hiroshi Okawa.  So much so, that Faust bought another 2-in-1 parasol from the same store to keep as a spare, but it was never needed.

The 2-in-1 parasol, with cover and silks and with a batch of paper, plus the spare 2-in-1 parasol, all enclosed in a Taylor-Made "scrimmed" wooden travel box, has now been sold to a buyer in the U.S.A.
